When UHNM Charity entrusted PREM Management with creating EDS: The Raw and Honest Truth, we recognized the unique opportunity to shed light on a little-understood condition, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and to bring real stories of resilience to the forefront. From concept to completion, our team dedicated themselves to every stage of this project, knowing the impact it could make on awareness and understanding of EDS. We began by diving deeply into storyboarding, mapping out the heartfelt narratives that would define this documentary. Every frame was carefully planned to honor the voices of those with EDS, capturing their struggles and resilience authentically. Once filming commenced, we were privileged to conduct candid interviews with individuals bravely sharing their journeys, as well as with medical experts who shed light on the challenges and misunderstandings surrounding EDS. Our team worked closely with these specialists to ensure the content was both informative and empathetic, bridging the personal with the professional. The post-production process was equally meticulous. Every edit, cut, and sound was crafted to capture the rawness of each story, while also ensuring a hopeful and compelling narrative arc. Our production team, from editors to sound engineers, approached each frame with care, aiming to reflect the perseverance and humanity of those impacted by EDS. As the documentary neared completion, we turned our attention to hosting a powerful premiere and promoting the film. The premiere allowed us to share this important work with the community, creating a space for conversation, compassion, and awareness. Our promotional strategy has focused on amplifying the voices in the film and reaching wider audiences to foster greater understanding of EDS. Through EDS: The Raw and Honest Truth, PREM Management is proud to support UHNM Charity’s mission, advocating for EDS awareness and understanding. This documentary is more than a film—it’s a call to action for empathy and inclusivity, one that we hope will resonate deeply and inspire change.
